Personal Commissions

The customer is expected to pay 50% of the cost up front for any commission over the cost of $20. The rest is expected before the final product is complete.

This is a digital product, nothing physical will be delivered. The customer will receive a single layer png file.

Each commission comes with 2 revision periods where the customer can give me their notes and requests if something isn’t up to their expectations, I will make any corrections for no extra charge during those first two revisions. However, if the customer wants a third revision or any revisions after the final work is complete, then an additional 10% of the original full cost of the commision.

At the time of accepting the commission we will discuss and I will give an estimate for when the work will be completed. If for any reason I cannot complete the commission I will let the customer know as soon as possible and provide a full refund regardless of any work completed.

If the customer wishes to cancel the project after the sketch is completed then the 50% upfront cost will be non-refundable. There will be no further charge and I will not complete any more work. Unless there is an extenuating circumstance the cancelling customer will be blacklisted.

There is a no tolerance policy for harassment, or pressure to go past my boundaries that have been clearly laid out in my do’s and don’ts sections, that have been stated in any written (/typed) communications. If this occurs the commission will be terminated. If this occurs after the sketch is completed then the 50% upfront cost will be non-refundable, if it occurs before this then a refund will be issued. Regardless of timing the customer will be blacklisted from future commissions.

Any customer who files for a chargeback will be blacklisted.

If the work being commissioned is suggestive or contains nudity I will request to verify the customer’s age in some way to confirm they are 18+ before anything is paid and before any work is started. If I later find out the customer’s age was misrepresented in any way they will be blacklisted.

This is not a license to the work, and it cannot be used in any commercial setting or context. I will still maintain the copyright on the work and am free to use it as an example, in my portfolio, post it online, and anything else. I will not repurpose it in any way for future commissions.
